Will Brodie is the author of the non-fiction book Reality Check: Travels in the Australian Ice Hockey League (2015); the novella DAY OF THE DRONES (2016) and the novel Suburban Tours, first published in a limited edition in 2009 and reissued in 2016.
In 1995, he was co-author of the AFL fan diary One Week At A Time.
His collages mix drawing, photographs and found media. Some of those pictures are visible in the 'images' section of this site and they are for sale via Fine Art America.
He also wrote the feature film script The Straitsmen in 1993 and in 2000 gained an Advanced Diploma in Screenwriting from RMIT Melbourne.
He worked as a writer, editor and producer for theage.com.au for 11 years until 2014. He has worked as a club publisher for collingwoodfc.com.au, as a researcher for a TV program and as a freelance journalist.
He's also been employed to dig, clean, stir, administer, lift, paint, attach, plant, graft, mulch, typeset horse racing form guides and to stamp ping pong balls.
He's lived in the outer and inner suburbs of Melbourne since 1967.
